  • We absolutely loved our experience working with dremel architecture + interiors. We had admired Margaret’s work in a neighbor’s house, and from the start, we knew Margaret was the perfect architect for our project. With Margaret’s assistance, we embarked on a home renovation that included: an expanded, brand-new kitchen, 3 new bathrooms, updated layouts of 3 bedrooms, an updated playroom, a new built-out mudroom, among other smaller projects. Margaret was wonderful at offering us multiple design perspectives for each of the rooms, and she had a meticulous eye for adapting the functionality of each space specifically for our family’s needs. She acted as a conduit between us and our contractor, ensuring that our decision-making timeline was compatible with the project, and we moved in on time.   • We started with a small home where an addition could have only added so many more sq ft. But we didn’t want to give up our location. Margaret’s design allowed us to utilize every inch our existing house and addition so that we have everything we could need or want from a much larger house (except the property taxes!).   • Margaret Dremel is a terrific architect with great creative vision and meticulous attention to detail. She works collaboratively with both clients and contractors. My project with Margaret involved a whole house renovation of a fifties-era expanded ranch house. Among other elements, her design turned a series of enclosed rooms into a glorious open living space, transformed the entrance hall into a showplace, created a luxurious master bath where before there was a tiny bathroom, and produced a beautiful but practical kitchen. She was a pleasure to work with throughout the project and was extremely valuable during the construction because she kept an eye on progress and caught any mistakes the contractor made before it would be too expensive to correct them. She understands structure as well as aesthetics. I highly recommend her and would gladly engage her services again in the future myself.
